Stories and highlights
There's always something to celebrate at our school, from exciting events to proud moments and everyday wins! Here are some of our highlights.
A year at our school
NOVEMBER
As part of Wellbeing Week, our school proudly participated in the Walk for Respectful Relationships, coming together to stand united against domestic violence.
This cause is profoundly important to our entire community. Domestic and family violence is never acceptable, and through this event, our students and staff demonstrated their commitment to being agents of positive change.
Together, we can create a community where respect is the standard and everyone feels safe and valued. It was a powerful day dedicated to an incredibly important cause.
OCTOBER
EHS launched the NRL’s In League In Harmony program with a number of our Year 7, 8 and 9 students.
Focusing on Respect, Inclusion, Diversity and Social Cohesion, this initiative is part of the NRL’s Social Impact strategy and aims to empower young people to be agents of change in creating a more cohesive and inclusive society.
SEPTEMBER
What a huge success Footy Colours Day was
The sun was shining and our school was filled with a sea of team colours. It was fantastic to see so many students and staff get behind this important fundraiser. Together, we raised an incredible $1510 for the Fight Cancer Foundation – supporting kids and families living with cancer.
AUGUST
Lola and Isabelle have just returned from Mount Buller, Victoria, where they proudly represented both Engadine High School and NSW at the National Snowboarding Championships.
Both girls showed great determination and resilience and are already excited to see what next year will bring. Well done, Lola and Isabelle – we’re so proud of you
JULY
The exciting launch of our Year 8 Project Based Learning program The World Game, held at the Engadine Community Centre. Students were introduced to their new challenge: to represent a club or nation from the FIFA Club World Cup and design a suite of world-class products!
JUNE
Rocking the Stage and Lighting Up the Night!
Presented by our vibrant Performing Arts team, tonight's concert was a celebration of creativity, collaboration and pure talent! Our school's top Rock Bands brought the energy, while the spotlight also shone behind the scenes on our incredible Production team.
MAY
What an incredible day at our inaugural Engadine High School Performing Arts Camp!
Surrounded by the misty magic of the Blue Mountains, our students immersed themselves in rotating workshops across multiple disciplines—stepping out of their comfort zones, expressing themselves creatively, and embracing every opportunity with open hearts and minds.
APRIL
What a day! Our athletics carnival was one of the biggest and best we've had in years – and it was all thanks to our incredible students, staff, families, and wider school community. The sun was shining and the track was buzzing.
MARCH
Our annual World’s Greatest Shave assembly — and it was something special. Every single student attended to cheer on over 50 of their peers who shaved, cut or coloured their hair in support of the Leukaemia Foundation.
This year we’re proud — and honestly blown away — to share that we’ve raised $48,741 (and counting).
FEBRUARY
Swimming Carnival
What a way to kick off the second day of the school year! Perfect weather, fantastic participation, and a brilliant mix of competitive races and fun novelty events. Our students showed great spirit in and out of the pool, making it a day to remember.
