Graffiti Removal Day Is On Sunday 28 March

Graffiti removal day

Graffiti vandalism costs our community over $300 million every year. To combat this problem the NSW Government established an annual Graffiti Removal Day. The aim of this event is to encourage people to volunteer their time to remove and prevent graffiti. Last year volunteers removed 12,500m2 of graffiti at over 420 sites across NSW.

This year our theme is 'Love where we live' and our aim is to encourage people to show pride in their local community by volunteering a few hours to remove or prevent graffiti in compliance with our NSW Government approved CovidSafe guidelines.

The event is sponsored by the NSW Government, Rotary, Dulux and Southern Cleaning Supplies, so all material and equipment is supplied at no cost to your school.

If you choose to participate you will be joining a wide range of other organisations including; Rotary, Scouts Australia, Girl Guides NSW & ACT, NSW Police, Air Force Cadets and Police Citizens and Youth Clubs as well as a variety of other local community groups.
