As part of their Urban Dynamics unit of work, Year 12 recently took part in fieldwork visiting Barangaroo and Millers Point for a case study showing urban consolidation and urban renewal operating in a suburb. Students had the opportunity to be tourists in their own city and spent the day investigating the surrounds of these suburbs in the centre of the city, led by the Observatory Hill Environmental Education Centre. Students enjoyed seeing and hearing first-hand examples and collected some great data and information for their case study.
