It was a great pleasure to have Uncle Shayne Williams from the Royal National Park Environmental Education Centre work with our boys this week. Under his guidance the boys sanded traditional tools which were carved by Uncle Greg Simms some years ago. The boys will also mark the handles of the tools before returning them to the Environmental Education Centre where they will be used in educational programs. Uncle Shayne also spent time with our Year 12 Aboriginal Studies class sharing important stories relating to his Dharawal culture and Aboriginal history.

We would like to pay our respects and acknowledge the Dharawal People, the traditional custodians of the land on which the school sits. We also pay respect to Elders past, present and emerging, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal peoples.
