Our Year 7 cohort braved the gale-force winds on Monday to experience the wonder that is Sutherland Sports Zone Gala Day at Barden Ridge. 4 sports and activities- OzTag, Netball, Soccer and Newcomb Ball were on offer, played in a round robin against 5 other schools.
A social and non-competitive billing quickly turns to fierce competition as soon as school pride is on the line. Wins and losses weren’t officially recorded, but if you ask any of the students in attendance, they could tell you who won what and will definitely tell you who lost what and why!
Thank you to our year 7 students for their undying effort over a long and windy day. They represented Engadine High School well, acting with the values we expect of our students at all times. Thank you also to the 10 PASS and 11 Sports Coaching students that volunteered their time and to the teachers who attended the day, supervising our students. #ehskickinggoals
