EHS is committed to supporting the next steps in Australia's reconciliation journey. We acknowledge National Sorry Day (26 May) and National Reconciliation Week (27 May - 3 June). Amy, our Aboriginal Education Officer, delivered a special Acknowledgement of Country at the whole school assembly, while Matilda and Hayley provided an informative presentation on the important messages behind Reconciliation Week. Reconciliation must live in the hearts, minds and actions of all Australians as we move forward, creating a nation strengthened by respectful and ongoing relationships between the wider Australian community, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. #NRW2023

We would like to pay our respects and acknowledge the Dharawal People, the traditional custodians of the land on which the school sits. We also pay respect to Elders past, present and emerging, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal peoples.
