It was very exciting to handback the traditional artefacts to Uncle Shayne Williams from the Royal National Park Environmental Education Centre. The boys in our Extended Education Program have been hard at work sanding down the tools and treating them with local white ochre. The nulla nulla, shield, woomera and hunting boomerang were carved by Uncle Greg Simms many years ago. The artefacts are now smooth and ready for school groups to handle in Dharawal Cultural Education programs. Thank you to Dean McEwen and Mr Drew Southwell for guiding the boys on this special learning journey.
