What an incredible day our Year 9 Duke of Edinburgh Bronze students had on their day hike through the stunning Royal National Park! The weather turned it on for us, making the scenic views even more breathtaking.
We enjoyed a lovely recess stop at Kangaroo Creek and a well-deserved lunch at Audley Weir, where everyone grabbed a refreshing ice block to cool down.
Throughout the 11km hike, the students truly embodied the Duke of Ed and EHS spirit – displaying initiative, teamwork, perseverance, and determination all day. After conquering the tough Honeymoon Stairs, every student finished with a big smile on their face.
Well done to all the students for making this a memorable and successful adventure!
A huge shoutout to Ms Bridgeman and Mr Richardson for you organisation and guideance!
