Silver Hike in the Stunning Blue Mountains - Duke of Edinburgh

Students hiking down steps

What an incredible experience for our Year 10 students during their Silver hike in the stunning Blue Mountains!

They kicked off the adventure at Echo Point, soaking in breathtaking views before following the track along the cliff tops. The journey led them down to the valley floor, where they marveled at majestic turpentine trees and cascading waterfalls.

The challenge wrapped up with the epic climb up the Furber Steps—951 steps over 612 vertical meters!

Throughout the 16km trek, our students showcased remarkable initiative, teamwork, perseverance, and determination, truly embodying the EHS spirit.

A huge thank you to Mr Stewart, Ms Tamp and Mrs Bridgeman for their leadership and organisation in making this adventure possible.

Congratulations to everyone for making this an unforgettable and successful journey!
