Our entire school came together for our annual World’s Greatest Shave assembly — and it was something special. Every single student attended to cheer on over 50 of their peers who shaved, cut or coloured their hair in support of the Leukaemia Foundation.
This event captures what we’re all about at Engadine High — compassion, unity, and showing up for others. It’s not just about raising money. It’s about raising awareness, showing strength in solidarity, and teaching our young people the power of community action.
Engadine High has built a strong legacy with World’s Greatest Shave. For more than a decade, we’ve ranked among the top school fundraisers nationwide. This year we’re proud — and honestly blown away — to share that we’ve raised $48,741 (and counting).
A massive thank you to our incredible Year 12 leaders, who’ve driven this campaign with purpose and heart, supported by their year advisors. You’ve led with maturity and spirit, and you’ve left behind something truly meaningful.
To our generous local hairdressers — Lillies and Locks Salon from Yarrawarrah and Rita from Mobile Boutique — thank you for donating your time and skills to support our students and the cause.
And finally, thank you to the wider Engadine community. Your ongoing support, donations and encouragement remind us just how lucky we are to be part of such a strong and caring network.
