"Citius, Altius, Fortius" (Faster, Higher, Stronger) Year 8 PBL program is in full swing! Our Year 8 students have embarked on an exciting four-day Project-Based Learning adventure centered around the Olympics, just in time to get into the spirit with the Paris Olympics fast approaching.
Today, students were assigned different countries and have taken on various roles within their teams, diving deep into the rich history and core values of the Olympic Games. The highlight of the day was a captivating session with Olympic skeleton athlete Nick Timmings, who shared his incredible journey and insights, inspiring our budding Olympians with his passion and dedication.
Throughout this week, students will engage in a range of stimulating activities, from creating country profiles and designing their own Olympic events to exploring the cultural significance of the Games. They're gaining invaluable real-world experiences and learning the importance of teamwork, perseverance, and global citizenship.
