The Library is the central hub of learning in the school. It is an inclusive, dynamic, information rich learning environment that supports the learning needs of students.
The Library is a welcoming place where students are engaged in a wide range of learning activities. Hundreds of students pass through the Library on any given day where they are expected to think, ask and create! We have created a variety of teaching and learning spaces which are able to be transformed to meet the differing educational and recreational needs of individual learners, small groups, or whole classes. Students and teachers are attracted by the modern and varied learning spaces that complement the use of new technologies. The Library emanates great enthusiasm and excitement for learning.
We believe that social justice is the foundation of ethical decision making and therefore, the Library is also the home of our student leaders. The Library strives to model the school’s shared core values: educational excellence and opportunities in a safe, nurturing environment.
We strive to maintain a balance between print and digital collections. Our Digital Library continues to grow giving the students and staff access to a range of resources 24/7 through our Library Google Classroom and the My School Library – Oliver.
