Engadine High School united as a force for change in two powerful White Ribbon assemblies dedicated to standing up against domestic violence. The atmosphere was sombre as students and teachers passionately voiced their commitment to ending this societal issue.
One of the most powerful components of the event was a moving tribute - a sea of white chairs symbolising the 58 lives lost to domestic violence in Australia this year. Each empty chair carried a profound message, urging us all to reflect on the impact of this pervasive issue.
Our student leaders and teachers took the stage with eloquence and conviction, delivering heartfelt messages that resonated throughout the halls. Their powerful voices echoed the collective call for social change, challenging our generation to be the catalyst for a brighter, safer future. Additionally, a heartfelt video created by our talented student leaders stirred emotions and left a lasting impression on everyone present. Through art and words, they captured the essence of our shared commitment to making a difference.
