Backstage Tour of the Capitol Theatre

Year 12 and the upcoming Year 11 VET Entertainment students were taken on an extensive backstage tour of the Capitol Theatre (currently showing Beauty and the Beast). They were taken into dressing rooms, on stage, side stage, up in the fly, below stage and in the ceiling!!! This incredible opportunity was followed by a tour and technician talk at Belvoir St Theatre where they were currently bumping in two shows. Students were able to see just how much work is waiting for them in the Entertainment industry, especially in the areas of Lighting, Audio, Stage Management, Set Design, Costuming and more. A truly inspiring day!
