Our Year 9 EYTIC had an incredible day at the Youth Ambassadors Forum in Arncliffe yesterday! The students were fully immersed in a variety of social justice-focused activities alongside peers from five other schools in the Sutherland and St George LGA’s.
The day was enriched by inspiring guest speakers, including Kal Glanznig, the visionary behind Plastic Free Cronulla, Darian Brooker, the CEO of We, Future Leaders, and Mohsen Sultani, a remarkable refugee from Iran. Their stories left a lasting impact on everyone present.
Post-lunch, the energy soared as our students participated in a vibrant drumming workshop led by the talented Lucky Larkey from Ghana. Such a fantastic way to channel creativity and rhythm!
